'Molecular biology and innovative therapies in sarcomas of childhood and adolescence', Pultusk, Poland
A sarcoma is a cancer that arises from transformed cells of mesenchymal origin. While rare, many sarcomas are sensitive to chemotherapy, and this has dramatically improved the survival of patients.
The conference will bring together biologists and clinicians to implement the interdisciplinary approach that is needed to advance research and therapy of rare childhood sarcomas. Topics will include recent results in molecular and biological research, identification of novel risk factors for stratification, and new models. For further information, please visit: http://www.esf.org/index.php?id=9149
