Ninth International Conference on Advances in Fluid Mechanics, Split, Croatia
Fluid mechanics is the study of fluids and the forces on them. The field can be divided into fluid statics (the study of fluids at rest), fluid kinematics (the study of fluids in motion) and fluid dynamics (the study of the effect of forces on fluid motion). It is a branch of continuum mechanics and is an active field of research with many unsolved or partly solved problems.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics in the research and developments in this area, including understanding basic formulation and their computer modelling as well the relationship between experimental and analytical results. The event will also be a forum for the presentation and discussion of advanced topics and new approaches with an emphasis on new applications and current research progress. For further information, please visit: http://www.wessex.ac.uk/12-conferences/afm-2012.html
