TIDE Congress: The European context for assistive technology

The second TIDE congress, entitled the "European context for assistive technology", will take place in Paris on 26-28 April 1995.

TIDE (Technology Initiative for People with Disabilities and Elderly People) is a Commission RTD programme (DG XIII) in the field of assistive technology (AT).

The congress is intended to be a forum for all those involved in AT. It will comprise the following three parallel sessions:

- The issues surrounding R&D activities and conditioning the effectiveness of AT products and services;
- Selected factors of paramount importance to the harmonious progress of the AT market and related services in Europe;
- Advanced R&D projects and methodological innovations.
