Implementing the Information Society: The European Framework and the Italian case one year after the G7 summit

An international forum, entitled "Implementing the Information Society: The European framework and the Italian case one year after the G7 summit", will take place in Rome, Italy, from 29 February to 1 March 1996. The forum is being organized by the Italian consulting company, Publica O&S, and the weekly magazine, "Mondo Economica", in collaboration with the European Commission.

Topics to be covered by the forum include:

- The realization of the Information Society in Europe;
- The G7 pilot projects: outcomes and perspectives;
- New services: realization and perspective;
- The Italian path to the Information Society.

Presentations will be given on the European Commission's Information Society Project Office (ISPO) and the INFO2000 programme for the development of a European multimedia content industry.
