The event is being organized by Eurocities, Telecities, POLIS and Car Free Cities, within the framework of the Digital Cities Project of the Community's specific RTD programme in the area of Telematics Applications.The conference, which is the first in a series of four, will focus on the issues confronting urban areas with regard to the deployment of telematics and the development of the global Information Society.
