A European conference on pulp and paper research will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, on 9-11 October 1996. The conference is being organized by the Swedish Pulp and Paper Research Institute with support from the European Commission's agro-industrial research unit (DG XII/E-2).
The conference will present Community-supported research projects in the area of pulp and paper. It will also provide a forum for discussion between representatives from the pulp and paper industries and promote the establishment of contacts, both within the industry itself, and between industry, government agencies and the European Commission.
