EVA'96 Berlin: Electronic imaging and the visual arts
The conference will focus on issues related to multimedia production, such as case studies and tools for visitor information systems, and 3D modelling and computer graphics. It is aimed at the visual arts community, imaging systems and telecommunications researchers, the government sector, media and related sectors, and the technology supply industry.
In addition to the conference, there will be tutorials and an EC information day. The tutorials will provide participants with information on issues related to the production of commercial electronic titles, while the EC information day will look at current and future EC activities in the field of multimedia applications. In particular, it will present the Commission's task force on multimedia educational software, the ESPRIT programme for information technologies, and the INFO2000 programme for the development of a European multimedia content industry.
