EITC'96 and ITEA'96 Awards by satellite

EITC'96, the annual European Information Technology Conference organized by DG III (Industry) of the European Commission, will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from 25 to 27 November 1996.
Highlights of this major IT conference, including the Information Technology European Awards (ITEA) ceremony, will be relayed live by satellite to two sites in the UK (Canterbury and Coventry). Two of the UK's Innovation Relay Centres will act as hosts for the broadcast which will include a two-hour debate between senior European industrial and other figures on the "Competing visions of the future of IT in society". Complementary activities are also foreseen.
