Innovative biomass boiler technology

A seminar on "Innovative biomass boiler technology for a European market" will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, on 9 and 10 April 1997. The seminar is being organized by NUTEK, the Swedish member of the OPET network (Organizations for the Promotion of Energy Technology), with funding from the THERMIE section of the Community's specific programme in the field of non-nuclear energy (JOULE/THERMIE).
The objective of the seminar is to promote new biomass boiler technologies, and to give representatives of the European biomass boiler markets an opportunity to meet and discuss recent developments. This should lead to the opening of markets and greater transparency in Europe. Presentations from manufacturers will address both financing and legal aspects of bioenergy utilization, and will show boiler technologies for medium and large applications (200 kW to 100 MW).
