- Atomic spectroscopy;
- Plasma techniques;
- Speciation trends and developments in ICP/MS;
- Microsystems in analytical chemistry;
- Imaging analytical techniques;
- Surface characterization;
- Online analysis;
- Laser spectroscopy;
- Organic analysis and mass spectrometry;
- Separative methods and bioanalyses;
- (Bio)chemical sensors;
- The renaissance of electroanalysis.

The major aim of "D'Conference 1994" is the vigorous promotion of a true partnership between the scientists who develop new technologies, the manufacturers who use these technologies and the end-users who put them into operation.
