The ENBR ('European network for better regulation') project will hold its final conference in Brussels, Belgium, on 11 December.

'Better regulation' is a key concept for public authorities. ENBR, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), aims to improve and disseminate current knowledge of regulatory processes, as well as build a database on impact assessment and related procedures in EU Member States. Among other things, the project has analysed the relationship between impact assessment and the quality of regulation in Europe.

At the final conference, the project consortium will present its results. In addition, experts will discuss such topics as:
- socio-economic sciences supporting policy making;
- better regulation among the EU's 27 Member States;
- regulatory reform from an international perspective.For further information, please visit:
