Conference on inquiry-based science education, Berlin, Germany

The European research project POLLEN is organising a conference entitled 'New milestones for inquiry-based science education in primary schools in Europe' on 29 May in Berlin, Germany.

As a follow-up to several European conferences on science education, this event intends to contribute to the international agenda on science education in primary schools. It will gather about 200 participants from all over Europe, including members of the scientific community, researchers, policy-makers in science education and teacher trainers.

POLLEN has been part of a recent effort by a number of European institutions in the fields of science, research and education to develop inquiry-based science education in primary schools through joint initiatives. Now reaching completion, the project provides an opportunity to hold a major final conference enabling participants to discuss issues and findings in this field.For further information, please visit:
