The 1998 European Product Data Technology Days will take place in Watford, UK, from 24 to 26 March 1998. This important annual event for managers, developers and users of product data technology is being organized by the European Commission (DG III) in collaboration with Quality Marketing Services.
The 1998 conference represents a continuation of the work of the Product Data Technology Advisory Group (PDTAG-AM), a project supported under the Community's ESPRIT programme for RTD in the field of Information Technologies. In addition, PDT Days '98 is, for the first time, joining forces with the European STEP Centres Network (ESPRIT project 24883), to present an enhanced and more comprehensive PDT Days event.
The overall aim of the conference is to raise awareness within industrial and commercial enterprises, of the business advantages that can be achieved by adopting and using modern PDT methods, and to share experiences on how measurable benefits can be realized.
