Exploitable results
Classical histogram or kernel estimates are not convenient for recursive estimation of distributions of demands of users of communication networks, where the call admission control puts a special emphasis on exact estimates of tail probabilities. A system of programs has been developed, implementing the so-called Barron density estimator, which is consistent in a strong topological sense guaranteeing increased accuracy of estimates of tail probabilities.
