This Deliverable constitutes the actual socio-economic data provided in NEXOGENESIS for use in the CSs. Metadata information will be provided as supplementary information with further details on the data characteristics. This will be used in Tasks in WP3 and WP4. It will contribute to Objective 2, and 3.

Complexity science models implemented for all the Case Studies-Prototypes and explanatory report/manual for each CS (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable reports on the implementation of the selected complexity science methodology in each of the case studies. This is accompanied by a manual explaining in detail each implementation. The outputs will be used in Task 3.4 and 3.5 as well as Tasks in WP4. It will contribute to Objective 1, 2, 4 and 5. This Deliverable contributes to WEFE nexus policy issues.
This Deliverable will present the finalized conceptual nexus models in the case studies. The outcome of this Deliverable will be used in Task 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4
Document information and consolidated data available according to specific Nexus dimensions from large repository and Inter-Comparison projects (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The Deliverable will consolidate and coherently compare data sources and characteristics pertinent to each nexus dimension covering data from large databases and from global intercomparison projects This will be used in Tasks in WP3 and WP4 It will contribute to Objective 2 and 3
Governance and policy assessment in CSs (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable presents the analysis of current WEFE nexus governance, and will help reveal governance regime capacity to reinforce WEFE nexus management, trade-offs, gaps or potential synergies in ongoing policy change initiatives, WEFE nexus conflicts within or across sectors, across scales and jurisdictions, levers and barriers for policy change, legislative/regulatory barriers and opportunities for “river contracts” to be implemented. It will contribute to Objective 2, 4 and 5. This Deliverable contributes to WEFE nexus policy issues.
Final report on the application of biophysical models and stakeholder recommendations (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable task will report on the selection and adaptation of suitable biophysical and socio-economic modelling outputs (i.e. data) for each simulation and case study. It will make use of biophysical and socio-economic model outputs to identify gaps in the nexus for the case studies early in the project. It therefore provides a mapping of data available to project CS requirements. It feeds the work in T3.3.
Ethics requirements and forms (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable addresses all ethical concerns in NEXOGENESIS including the ethical implications of workshops interviews etc and will prepare an ethics plan to ensure all rights and considerations are fully addressed including potential implications from COVID19 It will include ethics aspects on the collection and protection of personal data which is linked to the DMP This Deliverable will be of use throughout all WPs and Tasks
Internal and External Sustainability workshops report (second report) (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable will report on the findings of the sustainability proposals (i.e. continuation of activities beyond the life of NEXOGENESIS) deriving from workshops both within and without the project. The report will serve as a gauge as to the expected longer term sustainability of NEXOGENESIS activities and initiatives.

This Deliverable will outline the protocol for simulating the WEFE nexus response to stakeholder and policy interventions. It will describe how the models are to be altered in order to assess the impacts of changes to the systems. It will describe the “simulation policy framework”, a REST API server in which the scenarios of a case study will be introduced as well as the corresponding policies to be applied. This Deliverable feeds Task 4.4.
Data Lake for data sharing (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable is the development and rollout of the NEXOGENESIS Data Lake (a data sharing repository) which will store all project model-related data in a common format that can be accessed and used by all partners.
Core module of the self-learning nexus engine (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This Deliverable provides a detailed description of the ‘working’ (i.e. algorithm, protocols) embedded within the core of the NEXOGENESIS SLNAE and the reinforcement learning techniques utilized therein. Task 4.5 builds in this Deliverable.
