MIND4MACHINES Accelerator Curriculum ProgrammeThe accelerators objectives curriculum topics delivery methods and content of the Accelerator will be documented and concisely presented within the report on the MIND4MACHINES accelerators to be delivered by M15
Report on best practices and success cases in the targeted sectorsAECIM will undertake identification of the most relevant best practice cases and opportunities for manufacturing industry sectors metal mechanics automotive hybrid and electric vehicles mechatronics to implement ICT solutions The approach will identify neartomarket opportunities and sweet spots for the European manufacturing industry to transition to Industry 40 Other relevant projects will be considered together with the projects identified in section 132 A report D12 on Case Studies for the MIND4MACHINES sectors will be delivered by M4 and the results will be presented at the cocreation workshops in T13 and will be considered by WP2 and WP3 activities
Report on European and regional analysis of the needs, risks and motivations of industrial manufacturers to implement ICT solutionsDuring M1M3 the needs motivations and perceived risks of manufacturing SMEs towards ICT technologies implementation will be identified via a desk work reviewing literature and outputs of other EU projects especially those from section 132 In addition at least 3 facetoface interviews will be conducted by each cluster in order to have firsthand information This information will be then completed with a panEuropean online survey designed and implemented by ICI distributed using project and partners communication channels Later in M5 the analysis of the information gathered about needs risks and motivations of stakeholders will be conducted and fed into scoping of T13 to further shape the foreseen regional and panEuropean workshops
Mapping of investment sources and requirementThe activities of T1.4 aim at identifying existing regional, national and EU investment sources in the selected regions, as well as analysing their requirements. The results will be a valuable input for the development of business acceleration programmes offered by partners to SMEs in WP4. The first step is identifying and collecting information on available sources of investment, public and private, by means of desk research focusing on diverse relevant online sources, including policy documents, white papers, study reports, investors’ websites, and others, at regional, national and European level. and presented in the report on “Mapping of investment sources and requirements” (D1.5).
Results report on the application lifetime-1ICI will be the primary point of reference supervising the execution of the projects and answering any administrative legal or financial issues Consortia partners will support with a secondary role the monitoring activities Technical and financial reports will be submitted by the SMEs and consortia to ICI which will review and upon approval make the payments of the grantee If the report of the activities carried out by the funded project indicates either a misuse of funding or a low quality execution of the work performed MIND4MACHINES will reserve the possibility to transfer the second payment of the grant or even claim the reimbursement of its totality These legal provisions will be clearly laid down in the award contract countersigned by ICI as legal representative of MIND4MACHINES and the project participantsM24 and M36

Assessment of current ICT solutions roll out in the European manufacturing sectorThe current state of the art in the use of ICT, IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions and good practices in the manufacturing supply chain will be evaluated by: (i) desk research for identifying current practices in Europe, using existing projects, reports and surveys performed until now, and (ii) structured interviews and surveys by regional facilitators to evaluate the current extent of ICT technologies in the manufacturing industries of the involved regions. Relevant stakeholders from these regions will be selected out of the stakeholder mapping work at WP5, making emphasis in DIHs. The results of the assessment will be publicly available through D1.1. MESAP will lead this work.
MIND4MACHINES Joint Strategic AgendaGathering all the work and conclusions drafter in WP1 activities ICI will create the MIND4MACHINES Joint Strategic Agenda in M6 D14 with extensive consultations from all consortium partners in remote sessions online The Strategic Agenda will be the key guidance document of the project offering a European and regional assessment of main barriers needs and opportunities for the digitalisation of the manufacturing sector while contributing to societal challenges such as climate change decent work and others The work performed in the rest of the project such as the strategic priorities of the Open Calls set out in WP3 the accelerators in WP4 etc will have in this document the reference where to pivot to fulfil the ultimate objective of enabling new largescale smart manufacturing demonstrators through crosssectoral crossregional and open collaboration
The MIND4MACHINES platform for open innovation and ideas nurturing will be set up between M2 and M4 and maintained by F6S during the project execution and at least 2 years more after the end of the project The purpose of this platform will be to a Offer the information and resources to present MIND4MACHINES to SMEs and clusters engaged B Host the Virtual Meeting Point for B2B matchmaking C Publish news and all relevant public reports produced by the project in coordination with Dissemination WP and project website d Give access to the application portal rules templates guidance online application etcMIND4MACHINES Virtual Meeting Point will be technologically set up on the grounds of the F6S platform with data crossfertilisation with the project website where challenge owners and solution owners define and promote their ideas by building upon and leveraging the existing initiatives and tools of the consortium members
The online registration system for application will be set up at F6S and will be connected with the open innovation space and Virtual Meeting Point created within Task 21 Tasks taken to create it will automatically receive and process applications received and better allow the project consortium to monitor and handle the information and communicate with applicants The process will be organised by creating dedicated channels on the F6S platform to collect applications by individual SMEs or consortia
