Mapping of investment sources and requirement

The activities of T1.4 aim at identifying existing regional, national and EU investment sources in the selected regions, as well as analysing their requirements. The results will be a valuable input for the development of business acceleration programmes offered by partners to SMEs in WP4. The first step is identifying and collecting information on available sources of investment, public and private, by means of desk research focusing on diverse relevant online sources, including policy documents, white papers, study reports, investors’ websites, and others, at regional, national and European level. and presented in the report on “Mapping of investment sources and requirements” (D1.5).

Assessment of current ICT solutions roll out in the European manufacturing sector

The current state of the art in the use of ICT, IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions and good practices in the manufacturing supply chain will be evaluated by: (i) desk research for identifying current practices in Europe, using existing projects, reports and surveys performed until now, and (ii) structured interviews and surveys by regional facilitators to evaluate the current extent of ICT technologies in the manufacturing industries of the involved regions. Relevant stakeholders from these regions will be selected out of the stakeholder mapping work at WP5, making emphasis in DIHs. The results of the assessment will be publicly available through D1.1. MESAP will lead this work.
