Inventory of Activities and Selected Case Studies This inventory will be an overview database of identified outofschool science activities that can be sorted by the category and type of activity and their location

Initial Impact Assessment Report and Selected Best Practices

In this deliverable, a description of the evaluation of case studies and the input for the extended Surrounded by Science matrices will be given. (including nature and effects of activities within all categories of activities).

Towards a connected science learning ecosystem

This document will present the outcomes of the proof of concepts experiments related to the contributions of out-of-school science education to formal education.

2nd short policy brief

This will be a short document (around 2 pages). The introduction will be pre-filled by EC and will be based on the Work Programme topic description (challenge and impact). In the various sections will described how the project is answering this challenge/realising the expected impact.

Conceptual Design of the Science Booster app

Backend Infrastructure: This deliverable includes the central data storage and the web-based front end to manage and fill the central data storage with the information needed by the Science Chaser and the Science Booster. As both interfaces will be offered in several languages, the needed content can be entered in multiple languages. The infrastructure will be updated to incorporate the additional features and developments of the two interfaces in the two implementation phases of the research (phase 2 and phase 3 in Figure 1.3.5). Conceptual Design and Requirements of the Digital Toolbox This deliverable describes the conceptual design including Task Analysis and Possible Scenarios of Use of the Digital Toolbox

The Initial Implementation Report will report the activities implemented for each case study in each country in the first months of the implementation. M24

Quality Management Plan
Context Analysis and Considerations for the Accreditation Scheme

Surrounded by Science research has been designed to contribute to the development of an accreditation scheme for out-of-school science education, at least for programmes that are designed with specific participants’ learning outcomes in mind. The project will describe the context and the necessity of such a scheme, not only for the support and recognition of the out-of-school learning organisations but also for the support of the current educational policies, at EU level. Final release of the Science Booster: This deliverable includes the final release of the Science Booster app. The app will be developed to support the final implementation phase (starts on M24) and it will be adopted accordingly at the end of the project based on the feedback from its use in the different settings.
