Deliverables
Report including a detailed description of the prototype vibration prediction tool as well as a Users Manual and tutorial examples illustrating the use of the software
Report on approval testing (opens in new window)Report containing the results of final approval testing and demonstration of the userfriendly vibration prediction tool This report will also include the results of the demonstration of the vibration prediction tool by means of welldocumented case histories
Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation Report (opens in new window)Report summarising all communication dissemination and exploitation activities and their impact
Auralisation and visualisation software: User's manual (opens in new window)A manual on how to use the software tools of Deliverable D42
Database for vibration emission, ground transmission and building transfer functions (opens in new window)The report will describe the format for the database of both experimental and computed results For experimental data a detailed description will be given of each measurement site and the associated data The database will also contain sets of precomputed ground impedance and transfer functions that can be integrated into the new prediction tool for ground vibration A detailed description will be given of each case
Track-independent vehicle indicator and method for transposition of vibration emission data (opens in new window)Report describing the proposed methods limitations and test cases The proposed trackindependent vehicle indicator will be described and results of simulations will be reported to demonstrate its applicability and limitations The deliverable will also contain results of simulations representing examples of transposition cases based on advanced numerical models of ground vibration and corresponding results using the new prediction tool
Methodology for auralisation and visualisation of railway noise (opens in new window)Technical report on methods and tools for physicsbased railway noise auralisation and visualisation with descriptions of the modelling approaches
Ground vibration software: User's Manual (opens in new window)The Users Manual will describe in detail all aspects of the vibration prediction tool This includes besides the description of the user interface the theoretical basis of the applied methods and the description of the interfaces for input and output
State-of-the-art and concept of vibration prediction tool (opens in new window)Report including the stateoftheart for prediction models for railway induced vibration defining the concept and framework for a vibration prediction tool that can be used for environmental vibration impact assessment of new and upgraded railway lines
Validation of the prototype vibration prediction tool against documented cases (opens in new window)Report including a comparison of the results obtained with a stateoftheart numerical model with the results obtained with the prototype vibration prediction tool The report will also include a detailed description of the experimental case histories including all relevant parameters and data with uncertainty estimation the measured response quantities eg transfer functions vibration levels during train passages and the comparison with the results obtained with the prototype vibration prediction tool
Newly developed auralisation and visualisation tools will be released including a standalone auralisation software and a VR application
