photonic system for Adaptable muLtiple-analyte monitoring of fOod-quality

Deliverables

Mobile application

Development of a mobile application able to i) communicate with the data collection device, ii) send data to the central storage, and iii) provide some user data management.

Central cloud-based data storage and analysis platform deployed

Building of a cloud-based application used as a mobile backend, data warehouse and analytical platform with web interface for data management.

Professional communication kit - interim release

Update of the highquality communication package developed in D71

Professional communication kit - first release

Report on the highquality communication package developed at the beginning of the project to be used by the project consortium The aim is to define a projects graphic identity and to communicate projects objectives achievements and expected results to a wide public and scientific community

Development of organic/hybrid light-emitting diodes for the h-ALO sensor

Description of the stack architecture materials and optoelectronic characteristics of the two lightemitting devices which independently match the optical requirements of LSPR and PEF detection modalities

List of analytes, assays and fluorescence labels

Definition of a list of relevant analytes among pesticides microbiological constituents and heavy metals biorecognition assays ie aptamers and antibodies and fluorescent labels for plasmonicenhanced fluorescence in conjunction with the creation of a database

Report on sample-preparation

Development of specific sample preparation procedures for selected sample matrixes and analytes including matrix cleanup procedures and the use of analytespecific microsieve membranes for onsite handheld applicability Determination of usability recovery percentage removal of sample debris and filterable volumes for each procedure

Report on the database generation and implementation in h-ALO project

Description of the database including regulatory limits, scientific advices, corrective actions for food safety and quality aimed at giving feedback on the analytical results to the end-users.

Specification of optoelectronic and plasmonic requirements of single elements

Definition of the desired characteristics of the lightemitting devices the spectrally selective phototransistor and the nanoplasmonic grating to ensure their cooperative operation at the highest sensitivity for both LSPR and PEF detection modalities
