International and inter-sectoral teams from EC2U community join the EC2U Makeathon to question the status quo and find innovative solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s pressing societal challenges.An EC2U jury will award Forward-Thinking prizes (for e.g. “most inclusive/sustainable approach”). This 24-hour virtual makeathon will be widely promoted to raise public awareness.

Masterclass for Gender Equality in R&I (opens in new window)

It will be developed in close articulation with WP5 (EC2U innovation academy) and aggregate courses from the best experts (from the Alliance and beyond) in the implementation of Gender Equality procedures and policies, both for academic and entrepreneurship production. It will share the best practices from dedicated projects on the topic of each university (e.g. GendER@UC11 SUPERA12 at UC; STAGE at UAIC13). The Masterclass will be available as an online module that any researcher, innovator, staff member or leader from the R&I community of the EC2U can access from the EC2U web site.
