Provide a risk management framework for the EFACA project, to ensure that adverse situations are properly managed along the evolution of the project. Moreover, this report will address the roles and responsibilities of the organization, the risk identification, as well as risk assessment and mitigation plans. Deliverable will identify critical mass and size requirements (for all elements), required power and fuel consumption for the gas turbine engine, electric engine power and efficiency, required propeller parameters, and required FC performance parameters for HTEP elements.

Analysis of the Liquid hydrogen system for aero engine applications (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

The report describes the technical results of the process simulation of the systems comprising liquid hydrogen tank, cryogenic pump, and vaporizer for use in both gas turbines and fuel cells, which differ, among others, in the pressurization level. The results include also the main technical specification for the main equipment listed above. This deliverable refers to Task 3.1.

Assessment of aircraft noise exposure at airport level for current fleet and updated fleet for the CAEP/EUROCONTROL mid-and long-term forecasting scenarios will be delivered. Noise exposure assessment will be realised by calculations at airport level due to change in aircraft design and fleet transformation till 2050.

This deliverable will analyse relevant technologies in detail, bearing in mind that they may be different for distinct classes of aircraft.
