Part of task 3.2 Per use case, a brief evaluation report is written, indicating whether all planned scenarios were tested. If foreseen activities have not taken place, it is described why and how this is resolved.

Result in task 4.5. The methodology and assessment results regarding the use, usability, user acceptance and satisfaction of the end-users will be presented in this deliverable. Usability & user experience study are part of an agile development process of the main user-facing technologies of the project. The user experience study is held during the real-life testing phase (in WP3) with min. 20 users at each demo site.

Monitoring and demonstration activities report (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Needed data and basic reports to have detailed inputs and be able to calculate the KPI and or feed models. A first version will be available in M24,update & final report at the end. The following information will be collected: measured data (power, frequency, peak power, state of charge, commands (request by external parties),market prices/of-fers and gender disaggregated user preferences, requests as part of task 4.2

Part of task 3.3. Per Innovation Cluster, a report containing all lessons learnt is produced containing all lessons derived from implementation of use cases in SCALE. By organizing the use cases in Innovation Clusters, SCALE will enable knowledge exchange across use cases, sites and partners. The lessons learnt will be used as input for Task 3.4 Business case development and WP 5 and thus contribute to research on the scalability potential. Lessons learnt will be further developed in WP6 as one of the main project outcomes to be used by European smart charging & V2X practitioners.

Part of Task12 Analysis of challenges barriers and participation motives of stakeholders The results will be taken up in tasks13and 14Elaad will lead this analysis being a neutral party with a good overview of stakeholders

Report on consumer behaviour (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Report on consumer behaviour, challenges, barriers, incentive schemes, and participation motives of consumers in smart charging and V2X charging. This knowledge will be used to identify the best value propositions to each consumer segment and to develop the user interaction design. This report is part of Task1.1, periodically updated with intermediate reports in M6 and M16.

Guidelines for a Joint Procurement program (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Part of task 5.4. SCALE will define the framework for a Joint Procurement program with multiple (European) public authorities, while at the same time researching governance, technical, economical, and legal perspectives based on an “action research” approach and lessons learned from the Netherlands Agenda for Charging Infrastructure. Deliverable includes tender specifications for procuring charging infrastructure

Part of task 2.5. All the components will be tested and certified in lab environments and be ready to deliver the V2G services corresponding to the specification. A test plan will be written for each service and innovation cluster covering both happy and un-happy flows together with success criteria on machine-to-machine (protocol) and system level based on the output of Task 2.3.

Part of task 2.1. This document and the update describes the risk analysis of the development and technological point of view together with the mitigation strategies. This output will feed into the project risk assessment. Two risk analysis rounds are envisaged: 1)Month 12 (a priori, with mitigation/alternative solutions) and 2)Month 30 (a posteriori, analysis of actual risks occurred & mitigation strategies applied).

Part of simulation in task 5.2. Through grid modelling and power system stability studies this task will provide insight into smart scheduling, local distribution system impact, standards on V2G, delays, grid requirements, ancillary service requirements and frequency stability in the Nordic synchronous area where two of the sites are situated. (optimizing and frequency stability), including data sets from the pilots.

V2X Alliance Terms of Reference of the network (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Lays out the strategy, management procedures & template for Memorandum of Understanding to formalise the transition from the SCALE Reference Group into the V2X Alliance taken up in task 6.4. SCALE will set up a multi-stakeholder group (Cities/regions, OEMs, grid-operators, end-users, DSOs, CPOs, etc.) to ensure end-user feedback. The European V2X Alliance members will be invited to 3 physical workshops, the Bidirectional City events in Utrecht and 3 online events, benefiting from capacity building (Task 6.5).

A Communication Dissemination and Exploitation Plan CDE will be ready in task 61 by Month 6 and updated halfway through the project It will include CDE objectives with quantifiable KPIs appropriate monitoring tools produced in task 61 M6 with updates in M18

Part of Task13 Identification of overarching needs and challenges of cities in integrated planning regulation of mobility energy systems a survey and focus group interviews will be conducted to collect data on needs and challenges of30stakeholders eg city regional planners DSO TSO and added value of V2G and smart charging in different cities

Report part of task 4.3. SCALE will use measurements from T4.2 to assess of energy and social impact of demo activities. Presentation of the backgrounded LCA algorithms, the VERIFY platform and the results for each demo site.

Create a framework for SCALE capacity building programme for European V2X Alliance members to replicate SCALE results within their mobility ecosystem SCALE will conceptualise capacity building activities to empower European V2X Alliance members to bring project outputs into their daily operations Training modalities will include peertopeer exchanges site visits capacity building workshops and publicly available topical fact sheets developed in task 65

Result of task 4.6. This Deliverable will present the training content that will be prepared, along with its assessment results by selected end-users. At the end of the training, an on-line evaluation of the training programme and material will be performed (by at least 20 selected male and female users and stakeholders, representing all the demo sites) to assess effectiveness of content, material and delivery methods to the community/stakeholders; online feedback will be gathered and the results will be analysed and presented.

List containing all requirements for the hard and software components used in the smart charging and V2X architecture Building on the smart charging and V2X architecture from task 14 the requirements of the hardand software components design are analysed and outlined in task 15 The results of the analysis provide input to WP2 so that the technological gap between the architecture and the current state of the technology can be determined

Result of task 5.3. Propositions for legal framework and sustainable business international with national options with regard to at least two pilots and within each innovation cluster. SCALE will build upon results from WP2 and WP3 by following-up and promoting evolution of existing standards and protocols to influence their evolution based on SCALE results and specially to address gaps in existing standards

Part of task1.4. Parameters of smart charging and V2X system architecture applicable to all Innovation Clusters. Throughout the project, the architecture (smart charging / V2X) topology will be adjusted when this proves to be necessary during development in WP2, pilots in WP3, or exploitation potential analysis in WP5.

The city of Utrecht develops a tool helping cities plan for integrated, shared & private EV mobility and EV charging infrastructure rollout, incl. congestion forecast &management in different environments, enabling interaction with additional energy networks (including heating/cooling, gas). By M28, in task 2.6, a software tool and manual possible to answer city planning and simulation regarding the V2G uptake, the tool will be used to give the planning and model to at least one pilot will be ready.

Part of task 2.4. This entails defining the software architecture, developing the solution and testing its implementation so that it meets the requirements from Task 2.3. The outcome is the different software/hardware components ready to run and interact together with each other and the end-user.
