Plan for the Exploitation of Results (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This deliverable will outline the medium to longterm measures to be implemented for the project achievements to be kept alive and developed where possible after the end of the project These measures will have a focus on a the work in connection to the ZEWT Partnership done by the project partners which also includes the relationship with the policy makers b the promotion and update of the data and the regional model to be used by the relevant waterborne transport stakeholders authorities policy makers etc at regional national and EU levelc the Networks activities both towards the Partnership and within their own fields of activityThe first case will focus on the use of the NEEDS data in the context of the ZEWT Partnership activities and that of all the partners more generally As the timeline of the project is partly different from that of the partnership it means that the former will benefit from some of the results of the latter not just immediately but also further in time Other ZEWTrelated activities developed by the project partners can also benefit from the NEEDS input and these will be investigated and outlined in this deliverableSecondly the data will be used in the relevant discussions with the EU and MemberStates representatives While this part will have a significant overlap with the work done in the ZEWT partnership framework there are also myriad opportunities at national and regional levels The deliverable will outline some examples in this caseLastly NEEDS will further contribute to this standing waterborne transport experts group which is foreseen to continue contributing to the different Partnership and WATERBORNE TP activities either in the context of future projects or through other activities
Scenarios for the inland region (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Building upon D31 and D32 and exploiting information from other key sources eg STEERER project this deliverable will describe an appropriate number of realistic sustainable fuel development scenarios to be analysed for the region that will be validated by a number of key regional and international experts Boundary conditions and constraints across the different scenarios will be diversified properly and the results of a sensitivity analysis will be reported highlighting critical parameters where priority should be given
The STEERER Network Description and Remit (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The deliverable outlines the description of the STEERER Network and its mandate in the context of the NEEDS project This will also include if or where applicable the Networks contributions to the ZEWT Partnership through the project workThe STEERER project will already provide a group of experts and stakeholders with expertise andor interest in waterborne transport covering inland waterways shippers ship owners waterborne equipment providers shipyards ports logistics companies energy and fuel providers class societies etc The group also contains information such as contact details and competence profiles It can be further expanded with other waterborne transport stakeholders from various areas based on the lessons learned in STEERER and the specific requirements within the NEEDS project Particular attention will be given in this case to stakeholders that are not within the waterborne transport sector itself but that have a major link to it for the project purposes renewables batteries and fuel cells sustainable alternative fuels production energy transport etcThe STEERER Network is the key consultation body created by STEERER and continued by NEEDS The group will be at the core of the stakeholders consultation process and will remain as a legacy of this project as well The group will participate in facetoface events discussing the consolidated output prepared by the project partners In addition its members will be asked to provide input to online consultations to further support the project activitiesFinally though not its main role the STEERER Network will also act as one of the main dissemination channels towards the wider waterborne transport sector
Communication and Dissemination Tools (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The deliverable will describe all materials and tools that will be developed and deployed within the lifetime of the project for creating a strong visual identity and effectively communicating all key activities and outcomes to the projects target audience For their development the characteristics of the different stakeholder groups targeted will be taken into careful consideration while their plan for deployment will be also outlined specifying the responsibilities of each project partner
Communication and Dissemination Action Plan (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The deliverable will encompass the overall Communication and Dissemination CD strategy of the project It will therefore list the project CD objectives the foreseen record of activities including events and general timeline the CD dissemination tools to be used the target audiences KPIs etc In addition the deliverable will contain the description of two key aspectsThe first aspect refers to the interactions with the relevant policy makers at the EU level As the project is developing in the context of the ZEWT Partnership and its entire consortium is made of up WATERBORNE TP members the dissemination channels used will be both those of the project itself and those of the partners in particular WATERBORNE TP The latter will ensure that the necessary information is directly conveyed in a timely manner to both the private partners and the EC services involved in the partnership Consequently particular attention will be placed in the outreach to and exchange with the relevant DGs and their related agencies DG RTD DG MOVE DG CLIMA DG ENER JRC The relevant Committees in the European Parliament ITRE TRAN will also be approached Last but not least the positioning of the consortium members in particular that of WATERBORNE TP will also allow an outreach to the EU MemberStates an example here being that of the States Representatives Group within the ZEWT PartnershipThe second one concerns the allocation of responsibilities per partner in terms of objectives CD dissemination tools and content to be developed andor used and of target audiencesWhile the small number of consortium partners means that virtually everyone will have a contribution to the CD activities the strategy will ensure that each partner will contribute according to its profile visibility and abilities in order to achieve an optimum use of resources channels and timeThe document will first of all cover the actions to be developed and implemented during the project lifetime However it will also take into consideration the main directions and means through which the dissemination process can be continued by the project partners after the end of the project which will be expanded in D56 Plan for the Exploitation of Results
