Deliverables

Gender audit (opens in new window)

Task 9.6 he activities detailed in the gender equality plan will be operationalised as part of the project management activities. A dedicated gender manager will be appointed (WFSR) with expert advice on equality and diversity issues advice provided by UNEW. An annual report on activities designed to promote gender equality, and associated KPIs, will be provided (WR).

Communication and dissemination plan (opens in new window)

Task 7.2 Tailored communication and dissemination activities for the main audience groups will be carried out including: submission of abstracts and posters to international conferences, scientific publications, participation to both national and international events (congresses, workshops, etc.), leadership activities: discussion papers, webinars, practice guides and EIP abstracts. Industry engagement: attendance at exhibitions/trade fairs, training on HOLiFOOD tools. Communication with SMEs will be informed by the WP5 communication experiments.

Report of the kick off meeting (opens in new window)

Part of Task 9.5 The management (DMT) will be responsible for the preparation, organisation and administration of meetings and workshops (PMT, Consortium)

HOLiFOOD infrastructure & demonstrators deployment report (opens in new window)

Task 6.1 This task will coordinate with & participate in the horizontal meetings of the WP4 LLs in order to collect, analyse and process requirements that stakeholdershave in terms of data, models and computation that the HOLiFOOD infrastructure should offer to each pilot. Frequent interactions and revisions with all LLs will take place, to update and validate these requirements, as WP4 work continues. Task 6.2.This task includes: the development of services for data & knowledgeintegration/publication (AGROKNOW), services for predictive models integration/publication (CREME), the deployment of an HPC Infrastructure for hosting & computation (CREME), the creation of a shared encrypted database with private/confidential data (CREME), as well as additional services such as federated querying & learning services (WR). Task 6.3. This task will develop, enhance and evolve the software tools that will be used to support decision support scenarios within WP4 pilots.

Visual identity and communication package (templates, initial website) (opens in new window)

Task 7.1 A Communication and Dissemination (C&D) plan will be developed by M4 in consultation with all partners. The plan will outline all the C&D activities, including defining key messages, target audiences, tools & channels and timing. A project visual identity will be designed by EUFIC for HOLiFOOD to ensure a common graphic line (logo, layout, project leaflet, presentation templates etc.) for all C&D materials. A website will be set up and maintained by EUFIC. All partners will contribute to development of website content including: basic project information (objectives, results, partners etc.) & stakeholder-specific sections (project news, publications, events, webinars, practice abstracts, link to the platform developed in WP6). Search engine optimisation strategies will be applied to maximise visibility of the website.

Interim Sustainability and Commercialisation Roadmap for HOLiFOOD (opens in new window)

Task 7.6. Exploitation (M6-M48). Task leader: AGROKNOW. Participants: CREME, WFSR, UVMB, APRE. This task will carry out a focused market research on organisations to target and engage as users of the HOLiFOOD infrastructure and the piloted decision support tools. These are expected to be (a) EU organisations developing risk mitigation & management software and (b) public sector authorities & agencies. It will also develop a data and technology governance mechanism, set up the appropriate entity to further operate and sustain the HOLiFOOD infrastructure and the piloted decision support tools. It will build upon the existing governance structure of The FSM data and technology ecosystem, as it aims to continue and expand existing work. Finally, it will design, execute and monitor a community engagement and partnership development strategy to help develop the ecosystem of data, services and users around the HOLiFOOD infrastructure.

Minutes of the focus group meeting (opens in new window)

Task 2.1. A half-day focus group meeting will be organized (M6) with at least 15 experts (external to the consortium and representing all targeted stakeholders), defined in WP4, to present and discuss with them the new methods and tools that HOLiFOOD is going to develop. The focus group will ensure that methods are implemented according tostakeholders’ needs; moreover, insights and suggestions – to be used also by other WPs will be gathered.

Data Management Plan and IPR Strategy (opens in new window)

Task 8.1 This task will explore the possibilities of open data exploitation within HOLiFOOD and will monitor the generated data privacy and confidentiality-wise, ensuring that legal and ethical standards for data generation, use, storage, and sharing are applied. DMP will be created (D8.1), outlining how collected, processed, and generated data will be handled during HOLiFOOD and after its completion, always pursuing data interoperability. The task will also deal with the management of project knowledge, ensure proper implementation and maintenance of the legal aspects of the partnership as described in the Consortium Agreement (CA), and also monitor the adherence to the CA and IPR management strategy. Since the DMP is expected to mature during the project, a more developed version of the plan will be included in a later deliverable (D8.3 in M48). The support of the coordinator of the project and input from the whole consortium is necessary to collect information on data flow and subject matter protectable under intellectual property law.

Report on Social Network Analysis (opens in new window)

Task 5.1 Social Network Analysis (SNA) will be used to identify key players in the food systems being considered, and how they relate to and influence each other.

Vulnerability analysis report and data base (opens in new window)

Task 5.2 Existing and emerging food safety risks linked to changes in food supplies associated with the European “Green Deal”, will be assessed in relation to the three supply chains under consideration. 5.2.1 A holistic assessment from earlier crises, which including assessment of user requirements: 5.2.2 expert foresight analysis, using group Delphi methodology and experts drawn from 5.1. to assess the effects of changes by the Green Deal and climate change on Emerging Food Risks

Approach to include riskbenefit assessment in regulatory decision making (opens in new window)

Task 3.2 The bottlenecks in having health risk-benefit approaches adopted by regulatoryauthorities will be identified and discussed. A workshop with regulatory bodies will be organized by DTU (with INRAE and UVMB contributors), the conclusions of which will be used to tailor the current practice of evaluating and communicating (to regulators) health-related risk-benefits of food.

Initial Legal and Ethical Framework Report (opens in new window)

Task 8.2 The aim of this task is to examine the existing ethical and legal frameworks (EU and national) applicable to the research activities in the HOLiFOOD project, in particular the use of AI and big data analytics for a holistic risk assessment. In the course of this legal and ethical research, a human-rights focused approach will be adopted, to ensure that fundamental rights of individuals are protected. Desk research carried out by UNIVIE will be supported with by input from all partners (via a questionnaire). In this task also cooperation with partners’ DPOs is also envisaged. The activities will be informed by the activities in WP4. Outcomes of this task will be delivered in two iterations (D8.2 at M12 and D8.3 at M48), so that the challenges that arise throughout the project can be addressed.
