Project description
Waste heat upgrade technologies in action
Process heating consumes large amounts of energy. As such, it is necessary for the industrial sector to recover waste heat in order to meet decarbonisation goals. Even though this is in line with the EU Green Deal priorities to increase industrial energy efficiency, there is a mix of technical and non-technical barriers that need to be overcome. The EU-funded PUSH2HEAT project will demonstrate different heat upgrade technologies in selected industrial demo sites, representative of the most relevant industrial sectors, with high waste heat recovery and upgrading potential. The project brings together manufacturers of heat upgrade technologies, industrial end-users, engineering and business oriented companies, researchers, and key stakeholders.
