Whitepaper with policy recommendations

Whitepaper offering a perspective on or recommended solutions on how to foster societal acceptance and the uptake of emerging enabling technologies by industry and society.

Innovation journey map (final version)

A practical journey map laying out the implementation steps required to facilitate the innovation process with the active involvement of the forum participants towards the co-creation and pick-up of responsible enabling technologies. The report will consider the specificities of emerging enabling technologies and feedback gathered from evaluation (WP5) to identify changes and/or improvements needed.

Future scenarios report

Scenario narratives constructed as an outcome of the workshops organised in task 3.3. The defining criteria for scenario building will emerge as result from research in task 3.1 (horizon scanning) and task 3.2. (expert interviews to collect background information and prepare future scenarios).

Mapping of regional and EU Member States R&I priorities and programmes

Report identifying regional & national bodies from all over Europe in charge of R&I programming, key to foster the alignment between tech push and policy strategy.

Co-creation on emerging technologies - existing initiatives and success factors

Report gathering the outcomes of scouting of previous experiences of co-creation in the field of emerging technologies, capturing the very specific features and challenges of engagement and co-creation activities in the context of emerging/low TRL technologies.

Post-project exploitation plan and recommendations

FORGING exploitation and replication roadmap, including recommendations and lessons learnt to enable a successful replicability of FORGING in other for a.

Visualization of the future scenarios

Report analysing, refining, and visualizing the results from the T3.3 Scenario workshops. The refined future scenarios will serve as inspirational probes for future technological solutions and will be included in the FORGING co-creation toolbox.

Report from Tech Campaigns

Report on tech campaigns related activities (e.g. webinars, participation in dissemination and brokerage events, company missions). The report will also include recommended actions required to a fully adoption of the technology pathways and guidelines to explore policy initiatives that foster the diffusion and application of novel enabling technologies.

Insights from clustering and prioritization of promising Emerging Enabling Technologies

Priority clustering of the technology portfolio, preliminary to the co-creation activities in WP4. Insights will be collected in co-creation sessions where the FTF will be exposed to Perspective Cards (developed in Task 4.1) to provide feedback and prioritize emerging technologies.

Facilitated discussions about the future of Emerging Enabling Technologies: insights on the content and process level

Report on the co-creation events organised under task 4.2. These events will put into practice the FORGING toolbox (D4.1) to identify potential use-cases for the identified emerging technologies in specific industries/application sectors.

Final version of the Forging Toolbox resulting from refinement of the FORGING tool and Playbook throughout the implementation of the different project implementation stages.

Playbook and toolbox prototype

Forging Toolbox prototype - set of materials integrating the results of WP1, WP2 and WP3 to boost conversations and capture relevant information and insight about the analytical dimensions that FORGING uses to analyse emerging technologies in its work across pre-defined technological frameworks. This early release of the FORGING toolbox includes: tools (e.g., cavasses, cards, and other probes) a facilitation guide (Playbook), and a draft version of the Perspective Cards used in T2.4.
