Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

Bright Day Graphene is in essence an impact company. Our goal is to contribute to a sustainable energy society by providing high-performing materials that does not have a negative impact on earth at the end of their lifecycle. To have the impact we desire our materials need to find their way to the market. It doesn’t matter how innovative, how brilliant, and how high quality they are; if they are not used, they will have no positive impact at all.
This is the reason why this project has been important for the company. The goal has been to work with our business model, market analysis, competitor analysis, pricing strategy and IP strategy. All important parts of building our company in a way that will attract the investments needed, the customers needed and the partners and suppliers needed to work our way to market introduction.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

This project was focused on the business side of the company and did not have any technical part. The activities have been to do a deeper market analysis and competitor analysis to develop our business model further and sharpen our business plan. The project has also delivered a pricing strategy and an IP strategy.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

The results of this project are the foundation for taking Grapholium® to the market. A clear business plan, a pricing strategy and an IP strategy has been written and are ready to be implemented. We have almost everything in place to take the next step, to scale our production to make a market introduction. The only piece missing for this step is the funding. We are seeking both soft funding and investments for this project.
