UAinEuratom21 is 24 months Coordination and Support Action related to the Euratom Work Programme 2021 – 2022 Call - EURATOM-2021-UKRAINE-TRAINING-INFO-IBA and addressed to support of the Ukrainian ‘National Contact Point (NCP) to Euratom’ (UA Euratom NCP) activities that contribute to better integration of Ukrainian research entities into European nuclear research networks.
There are three specific objectives of UAinEuratom21 project:
• Strengthening the integration of Ukrainian stakeholders in pan-European initiatives and research relevant to all research areas covered by the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021-2025
• Enhancing of UA Euratom NCP competence,
• Euratom programme awareness raising among Ukrainian stakeholders.
UAinEuratom21 project measurable targets are the following:
Strengthening the integration of Ukrainian stakeholders in pan-European initiatives and research relevant to all research areas covered by the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021-2025
• Participation in relevant to Euratom events (FISA and EURADWASTE, SNETP/NUGENIA forums, brokerage events,
• Cooperation events with EU Euratom NCPs,
• Twinning schemes,
• EURATOM Info Day in Ukraine - 2023.
Totally, 10 in-person and 10 on-line participations are planned at the Euratom relevant events.
Enhancing of UA Euratom NCP competence
• Trans-national co-operation between Ukrainian ‘National Contact Point to Euratom’ and other Euratom NCPs (2 events),
• NCP staff trainings (4 off-line trainings, 2 on-line trainings),
• NCP benchmarking,
• Participation EU NCPs and Horizon Europe webinars and workshop (6 webinars/workshops).
Euratom programme awareness raising among Ukrainian stakeholders
• UA NCP newsletters (Newsletter in 2022, Newsletter in 2023),
• Ukraine in EURATOM banners (20 electronic and 10 hard banners), NCP leaflets (4 E-leaflets) and other promo materials
• Euratom sections at Ukrainian conferences relevant to Euratom programme (2 conferences),
• UA Euratom NCP web page supporting and upgrading (integration of project pages to UA Euratom NCP web),
• 20 Profiles of Ukrainian entities relevant to Euratom programme,
• 1 Portfolio of Ukrainian entities relevant to Euratom programme,
• UA EURATOM NCP in social network (UA EURATOM NCP in Facebook),
• Publication of materials about Euratom and Ukraine cooperation in a different electronic and hard issues,
• UA Euratom NCP regular workshops (2 workshops),
• Trainings for UA stakeholders (4 trainings).
There are three main target groups of audience that are in the spotlight of the UAinEuratom21 project:
- UA research community,
- EU research community,
- UA Euratom NCP.
There are two target groups of audience that are very important in terms of efficiency and coherence of the UAinEuratom21 project activities:
• UA coordination and support bodies,
• EU coordination and support bodies.
There are 4 Work Packages (WP) that are planned in the UAinEuratom21 project.
The main three WPs are addressed to three specific objectives of the project. The fourth WP is for management and administration of the project.
• WP1 - STRENGTHENING OF NETWORKING ACTIVITIES BETWEEN UA AND EU RESEARCHERS
It is focused on UA and EU research community mostly with strong communication with UA and EU coordination and support bodies
• WP2 - UA EURATOM NCP COMPETENCE REINFORCEMENT
It is focused on NCP staff and services.
• WP3 - DISSEMINATION, EXPLOITATION AND COMMUNICATION.
It is focused on all groups of project audience with a central focus on the research community.
• WP4 – Project Management.
It is addressed to the efficient project management, administration and ethics.
