Resultado final
This report will describe the result of the developed actuating fabrics based on ionic EAPs.(Task 2.2)
Training School 2 organised (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Training School 2 will have been organised. A report including participants list will be provided. (Task 4.3)
A collection of textile constructions suited for inherent actuation (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This report will describe how the textile constructions should be designed in order to provide actuation in fabrics by embedded actuators. (Task 2.1)
New ink formulations for 3D printing on fabrics (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)In this report the new developed ink formulations suitable for 3D printing on fabrics will be reported. (Task 2.3)
First pneumatic bladder actuating fabrics with multiple sensorized chambers (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This report will describe the results of the first pneumatic bladder actuating fabrics with multiple sensorized chambers. (Task 2.5)
Fibre format instability phase change actuator demonstrated (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This report will describe the results of the developed liquid-gas phase change actuators with mechanical instabilities in a fibre format. (Task 1.3)
Training School 3 organised (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Training School 3 will have been organised. A report including participants list will be provided. (Task 4.3)
Electronic EAPs in yarn format demonstrated (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This report will describe the result of the developed electronic EAP actuators. They will be fabricated in a small size suitable for integration in fabrics using different fibre forming techniques. New ultra-soft elastomers that are reinforced by very thin fibres will be fabricated to make flexible, soft elastomer yarns with mechanical integrity. (Task 1.2)
Ionoelastomer ionic EAP yarns developed (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This report will describe the results of the developed actuating yarns based on ionic EAPs, conducting polymers (CP) and carbon nanotubes (CNT). By coating these yarns with novel ionoelastomers that will act as ion sink/source in air-operation of these yarns will be demonstrated. Highly conducting PEDOT coatings that are stretchable will be developed for these actuating yarns. Finally, twisting and coiled configurations of the yarn will be fabricated. (Task 1.1)
Collection of future scenarios for applications of wearable devices with actuating textiles (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This report will describe the collection of future scenarios for applications of wearable devices with actuating textiles. (Task 3.1)
A workshop on dissemination will have been held at TS3.
Training School 1 organized (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Training School 1 will have been organised. A report including participants list will be provided. (Task 4.3)
All Researchers recruited (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)All Researchers within SOFTWEAR will have been recruited.
Committees' set-up and meetings booked (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)All committees within SOFTWEAR will have been set-up and the meetings booked.
The project website, YouTube channel, and social media accounts will have been set up. (Task 5.1, Task 5.5)
