Project description
Supporting global health research activities
People and organisations in more than 70 countries around the world have partnered to develop and facilitate innovative research collaborations. They are part of the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD). Together, these leading health researchers and funding agencies coordinate research activities addressing on a global scale the prevention and treatment of chronic, non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, respiratory diseases, cancer and mental health. The EU-funded GACD3 will support the alliance’s secretariat to coordinate research priorities and joint funding; capacity build for implementation research and promote the likelihood of impact by fostering collaborative working across the GACD Research Network.
