Objective

"The aim of this project is to organise the Marseille Conference for International Cooperation (#INCO) under the upcoming French Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the first semester of 2022.
This two-day Marseille Ministerial Conference being held on the 8th and 9th of March 2022, is an ambitious initiative to promote a Global Approach for Research and Innovation. The event aims at fostering exchanges and good practices setting off a new cooperation framework with partners based on the European Union’s values and objectives. This one of a kind initiative will encourage Europe’s Global Approach towards Research and Innovation. This CSA, will be managed by IRD (French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development) and will contribute to the success of the Marseille Conference which shall involve delegates, both European and International, along with selected external experts. As monobeneficiary of the grant, IRD will liaise with the MESRI (The French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Education) and the MEAE (The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs) for the overall organisation of the Conference, . These two days shall be hosted across two different venues – The famous Palais du Pharo Conference centre and the MuCEM museum premises (Musée des Civilisations, de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée) in Marseille, south of France.
