Scientific paper on testing of VHP thrusters with the AEDP diagnostics set-up (opens in new window)In this paper, the AEPD diagnostic set-up used for VHP thrusters will be described and the data acquired in the test campaigns on VHP thrusters presented. The data will be analysed and discussed with special emphasis on the high thermal load imposed on the diagnostic tools by the VHP thrusters.
System level impact on spacecraft and required HET performance for VHP thrusters (opens in new window)Based on previous mission analyses, a specification of VHP thursters (use duration,…) is provided.
