A framework based on the developed, tested and demonstrated assessment tools will de created to help investors and researchers to evaluate market readiness of technologies, as well as public authorities to evaluate the societal value (local and global) of investments in protection and restoration of marine and freshwater ecosystems.

To enable a future alignment of Smart Specialisation Strategies to the objectives of the Mission Ocean and the Mission Scaleup Actions, a report will be elaborated with recommendations to regions within the Lighthouse area regarding investment priorities, future market opportunities, effective use of research infrastructures, fit for purpose support systems and relevant emerging technologies.
