Report on the socio-economic contexts of cities (opens in new window)The report provides a mapping of cities, particularly in terms fragmentation of spaces (access to public services, medical services, possible school maps, transport accessibility, segregated areas, NGO network, etc.).The protocol used is to collect existing data on ; 1. The map of each city and difficult neighbourhoods, based on access to public services, the presence and quality of mobility infrastructures, the school map and spatial and socio-ethnic segregation.2. The sociology of the city and the disadvantaged neighbourhoods or suburbs (such as the Bacalan or the Aubiers in Bordeaux; the Bijlmermeer neighbourhood in Amsterdam, the Ferentari neighbourhood in Bucharest and la Mina in Barcelona and Gerone). The city's demographics will help locate minority populations.3. The city's social housing policy. Rehabilitation programs for sensitive neighbourhoods, possible gentrification processes. The aim is to obtain the dissimilarity index, which measures the degree of residential segregation.4. The nature of diversity and inclusion policies. How the issue of diversity is addressed within the municipality. The existence (or not) of multicultural outreach programs.Provide data on complaints to police stations, court judgements. In addition, complaints made to NGOs and institutional ombudsmen will be compiled. This will include a fraction of hate crimes and data on complaints about racist acts as well as data on racist ligation
Frame for travelling exhibition (opens in new window)This report will specify the first elements of the travelling exhibition. In particular the main orientations of the travelling exhibition and the modalities of the educational exhibitions. The main artistic choices (life stories, filmography, etc.) will also be specified.
Draft on good practice guide to fight against systemic discriminations (opens in new window)"In conjunction with the CER, will propose a ""good practice guide"" that is widely distributed (IPTs, SMEs, chambers of commerce, employment agencies, universities, etc.). The objective is to change the professional representations and practices of the actors (from designers to implementers). The guides, which may be available in the form of leaflets or downloads, will give rise to the creation of training modules or training courses for the partners, initially. It is envisaged that these training modules will be distributed more widely to companies, particularly those contacted during the survey. The first documentary will present the expression of the gypsy culture in Barcelona (La Mina district) (Broadcast from M18). It will be 11 minutes long and available on YouTubeIt aims at presenting the cultural diversity and memory of this population to the majority population in order to change their perceptions of the Roma (At the end of the film screening, a survey will be conducted among the majority population to determine the effective impact of the film).In order to document these cultural expressions, a filmmaker will conduct their first interviews and rushes in the first period of the project (WP1). The filmmaker will interview the actors within the pre-identified associations (association of Moroccan women of Barcelona, teachers in the heart of the Mina district, Roma associations, student association).
Questionnaire for a quantitative survey to test the typology (opens in new window)Based on the typologies, a questionnaire will be constructed and finished (M34). It will be the basis for a quantitative survey launched in M35 with a sample of 100 companies (minimum) in each city (the study will be extended to the whole country to increase the representativeness of the sample and test the typology on a large scale). The objective will be to find out the extent of business practices that can be considered systemic.
