SWOT analysis of the use of cutting-edge technologies in craft, and presentation of innovations that link cutting-edge technologies and craft processes. The report will also have an analysis of the impact of the use of technologies on the local communities. The report will have a review on cutting-edge technologies used in contemporary crafts, and also used to restore traditional craft artefacts, to valorise heritage, preserve knowledge and materials. The report will have produce a ‘craft-technology driven scorecard’ of cutting-edge and digital technologies for craft-making processes, and a repository of their technical descriptions and potential application in the craft sectors.
A report on the perceived educational gaps among craft-makersThe report will present the results of the online questionnaire, and the analysis of the co-creation workshops. Tor Vergata will write this report with regards to the different knowledge areas covered by the projects (digital/tech, entrepreneurial/organisational skills). Such needs will be the input for the design of the bottom-up educational curricula in T4.3 in a report on knowledge gaps and needs for continuous education in the craft sector.
