This report will present the initial design of the solutions for secure and trustworthy AI in the VERGE edge computing architecture. This will include the initial formulation and assessment of the solutions against security and privacy attack threats, the DLT solutions, including blockchain, to enable data sharing in massive XR networks and the solutions for explainable, safe and causal RL models.
Report on VERGE’s open dataspace (v1)Describes all the measurements that will be planned in VERGE. Reports the specific measurements available in VERGE’s open dataspace at the time of writing.
First report on VERGE edge intelligence and network managementThis document will gather the preliminary design of the AI for edge solutions envisioned by VERGE. It will describe the AI technical and operational requirements, the demanded input metrics as well as the definition of the outputs, and the measurable KPIs that will be used for assessing the distinct solutions. The document will also describe how WP3 solutions will interconnect with WP2, and what interfaces would be needed to gather data and implement action policies.
First report on VERGE Edge4AI designThis document will present the initial design of the Edge4AI proposed in VERGE. It will first describe the programming models and practices selected for the distribution and parallelisation of application and network function workflows. Then a description of the edge4AI software components operating in isolation will be presented, whereas a first specification of the required interfaces for the integrations among them will be defined. Finally, an initial version of the cognitive framework will be delivered, covering a limited amount of provided metrics and functionalities.
