Data management plan
(opens in new window)
The data management plan adopted by UvA will be followed for this project. The collected data and research outputs will be saved in folders with a consistent file naming system for both folders and individual files. During the project, the data (including the raw data) will be stored on UvA servers that are backed up daily, to prevent data loss and also on dedicated hard drives. In addition, the data will be archived in a repository (e.g. SURF drive) to satisfy the preservation period of the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Scientific Practice, which requires a storage period of at least ten years. Data will be stored according to FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperable and Reusable), with the help of Research Data Management department of UvA. Special attention will be paid to the indexing principles, so that they align with general principles.
