Deliverables
TUD provides courses on research data management and data management plan (DMP). The research data gathered in this project will be described in a DMP in the first six months of the project by consulting the Faculty Data Steward. Rspace/eLAB Journal/other ELN systems for electronic lab record keeping, TU Delft Statistical Helpdesk for determining sample size, and sufficient documentation and testing will be used. The QA/QC standards established in TUD and primarily outlined in SOPs for the acquisition will be followed. For each measurement sequence, calibration and blank tests, recovery and accuracy tests utilising standard spiking, and replicates for each measurement data set will be used. About 10–20% of the samples used for the entire project will be for quality control. Data collections for each experiment or sample campaign will be accompanied by metadata files in the.xls and after the project.csv formats. They will include the name of the data producer, the project, a persistent identifier for the raw data, the sampling date, the location, the characteristics of the samples, the analytical equipment used, the methods used, the file format, and the location of the files.Additionally, data will be stored at the TUD facility (4TU.ResearchData) for up to 1TB per year and Zendo for up to 50 GB per submission free of charge. The datasets with the published papers will be made openly through open-access publishing support and early open data-sharing options.
