The research activities proposed by SOLUTION will lead to high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals, including Chemical Engineering, Water Research, Hazardous Materials, Environmental Science and Technology, and will allow the Fellow to address International Conferences held annually by IWA, SETAC and International Water Conference chaired by Prof. Dr. Jan Peter, where he will share relevant results with the broader research community. The Fellow will organize seminars at TUD through Civil Engineering and Geosciences, an international point for disseminating AOP-related technologies and wastewater reuse while creating awareness of the Marie Curie-sponsored research. The Fellow will organize symposia and workshops (W1& W2, Table 4) on PEC modelling, reactor design and LCA, where research students, scientists and industrialists will be invited to contribute. In total, six publications in international journals covering various objectives of SOLUTION will be contributed to the EU and the international community. The Fellow will also serve as an Ambassador for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship scheme among university students. The Fellow will publish general articles in local and national press and e-newsletters. The articles are targeted toward the public and students to create awareness of the research undertaken. At the same time, these articles will help the Fellow boost his altimetric. national-level workshop will be organized at the end of the first year. The scientific and industrial community with expertise across the research areas on AOPs, and wastewater utilization, will be invited. Another workshop will be conducted at the end of the second year involving the broader European scientific and industrial community. The representatives of the Marie Curie programme will also be invited for a pilot-scale demonstration. The Fellow will participate in Innovation Exhibition, an annual event conducted by TUD to attract potential investors. The Fellow will work with Business Development Manager at TUD to strategize research idea commercialization.
