Sustainable renewable energy VALUE chains for answering FARMers’ needs

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Data Management Plan (opens in new window)

This plan will contain all rules with regard to the management of data and will comply with the FAIR principles.

Protocol of good practices for handling already existing residual crop streams and usage of digestate (opens in new window)

Protocol for processing abundant residual biomass and good practices for nutrient recovery.

Report on demonstrations’ specifications (opens in new window)

Information on land and soil of the demonstration sites, technical requirements and specifications for the renewable energy technologies set-up, for smooth demonstrations.

Crop protocol for the Mediterranean region (opens in new window)

Selected appropriate crops for the Italian demonstration, and good practices for the anaerobic digestion.

Plan for dissemination and exploitation including communication activities (opens in new window)

This plan defines the dissemination, exploitation, and communication goals and tools, the target audience, the main messages to be conveyed and the strategy to overcome the barriers that could negatively affect them.

Report on regulation framework analysis (opens in new window)

Literature review to obtain an overview of the policy framework in the EU and policy instrument types.

Crop protocol for the Atlantic region (opens in new window)

Selected appropriate crops for the Danish demonstration.

Modelling study to optimise the design and management of agrivoltaic systems (opens in new window)

The study will investigate for farms in Italy and Denmark: 1) how to produce the electricity needed to off-grid the production of biomethane; 2) how to expand agrivoltaism to medium-large scale (20 ha and up) for enlarging the renewable energy potential at farm level and feed electricity into the grid.

Report on farmers’ needs and decision support tool framework (opens in new window)

Mapping of farmers’ needs in terms of crop, energy demand etc., and general guidelines for the development of the decision-support tool.
