Mapping of farmers’ needs in terms of crop, energy demand etc., and general guidelines for the development of the decision-support tool.

Literature review to obtain an overview of the policy framework in the EU and policy instrument types.

Modelling study to optimise the design and management of agrivoltaic systems

The study will investigate for farms in Italy and Denmark: 1) how to produce the electricity needed to off-grid the production of biomethane; 2) how to expand agrivoltaism to medium-large scale (20 ha and up) for enlarging the renewable energy potential at farm level and feed electricity into the grid.

Protocol of good practices for handling already existing residual crop streams and usage of digestate

Protocol for processing abundant residual biomass and good practices for nutrient recovery.
