Deliverables
A report describing the constraints and the opportunities for the scale-up of the gasification process. These challenges encompass among others technical parts of the reactor system, such as the counter-current flow column of the gasification reactor, which is currently available only in the scale of 1 MW. Furthermore, the set-up of the process chain will be evaluated regarding the use of residues as feedstock.

In specific, this task will establish a clear picture of the TRL and existing demonstrations of process steps within the technologies of pyrolysis and gasification of biomass and waste feedstock.

A subpage of BioTheRoS project webpage will be created containing a database with the gathered information and publications. This knowledge database will be clustered in topics and a search function with filters will be available
