Breathing Life into the New European Research Area and the ERA Policy Agenda Through Engaging Awareness-Raising Initiatives

Project description

Hub to valorise the ERA Policy Agenda results

The ERA Policy Agenda outlines 20 voluntary ERA actions for the period 2022-2024, aimed at contributing to the priority areas established in the Council Recommendation on a Pact for Research and Innovation in Europe (Pact for R&I). This initiative marks the first step toward a comprehensive approach to addressing these priority areas. The EU-funded INSPIRING ERA project aims to speed up the valorisation of outcomes from the ERA Policy Agenda 2022-2024. To achieve this, it will establish a service-oriented hub that connects Member States, Associated Countries, and stakeholders in their collaborative implementation of ERA actions. The project will ensure widespread adoption of results and offer recommendations for policymakers.

Objective

The goal of INSPIRING ERA is to leverage and accelerate the valorisation of results from the ERA Policy Agenda 2022-2024 through a service-oriented hub that connects and supports Member State, Associated Countries and Stakeholders with regard to their joint implementation of the ERA actions in close collaboration with the European Commission. The project aims to create and support a culture of mutual learning, to build and strengthen a viable community of practice for ERA that thrives through from insights, and to maximize the broad uptake of valorisation of results stemming from the ERA Policy Agenda actions through the elaboration of recommendation and guidance for policy-makers.
