Research report on previous and running initiatives and European projects on STEAM education and gender equality (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The Report includes the summary (pdf, in EN) of previous and running initiatives. The results will be based on interviews (appr. 20-25 interviews at the consortium level) with representatives of the most relevant EU and national/local initiatives ((programme owners/partners aiming to promote female participation in STEM and innovation, Scientix ambassadors, mentorship programme owners, etc.). It will help to define the methodology for the better engagement of girls/young women in the project activities and theinnovation ecosystem itself.
Stakeholder Mapping and Digital Engagement Strategy (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Stakeholder engagement is key to the successful implementaion of the project. The project aims to involve stakeholders from the beginning to pave the way to a successful and sustainable collaboration between different sectors. Stakeholders will be continuous partners in STRE(AM IT activities, starting from the Co-creation Working Lab (T2.4) that defines the gender- and diversity-inclusive methodologies for project actions. Furthermore, stakeholders will be invited to the public parts of project partner meetings (T1.1&T6.2) that will be organized back-to-back with international days dedicated to gender equality (e.g., International Day in Women and Girls in Science, International Girls in ICT Day etc.). The defined target groups are the main beneficiaries of project activities in WP3, WP4, and WP5. Stakeholder engagement is key to sustaining the national Inspiration Hubs and the Virtual Makerspace in the long run. To overcome the difficulties of attracting young people to be engaged in project activities, and engaging stakeholders from all levels, a Stakeholder Mapping and Digital Engagement Strategy (T6.2) is elaborated. CESIE is responsible for coordinating the preparation of stakeholder maps and elaborating a digital engagement strategy targeted at young girls/women and group STEM educators/institutions through STREAM IT social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok). Partners will be involved actively, the Strategy can be revised throughout the lifetime of the project.
Communication and Dissemination Strategy (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)F6S is responsible for formulating the Communication and Dissemination Strategy (pdf, min 30 pages, in EN). Its aim is to elaborate on the steps to be followed throughout the duration of the project to effectively manage all communication and promotion activities. It presents information on the identification of the target groups, best ways of engaging them, methods, messages and channels to be used, action plan for implementation, the monitoring process of dissemination activities, indicators, responsibilities of partners along the timeline and materials for dissemination.Part B - Page 11 of [Page limit] It includes also the Visual Identity design (e.g., logo, website design, document and presentation templates, online badges dedicated to active participants of the project) produced by the project. Research Report on obstacles and supports for gender equality and inclusiveness in STEM education, R&I (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The research results will be introduced in a Report (pdf, min. 60 pages, in EN). Its content will cover 1) existing knowledge on GE and/in STEM education with a focus on institutional barriers young women face when entering tertiary STEM education and pursuing a career in STEM, as well as on any potential additional hindrances risen due to the crises of the recent years (Covid-19 pandemic, the war, energy-crisis), and 2) how institutional level supports young talents in their career plans and contributes to maintaining/counteracting gender inequalities in STEM education (secondary and tertiary) and career support.

The Virtual Makerspace will function as a European-level open educational and networking platform of the national Inspiration Hubs but open to other stakeholders beyond the project. Its aim is to connect teachers, researchers, policy makers, industry parties for the promotion of STEAM education and STEAM approaches in Europe. As an international networking platform, it provides information, sources and tools for embedding (digital) STEAM approaches into STEM education for improving gender equality and intersectionality, and bring stakeholders together for new collaborations. The Platform will share the activities of the national inspiration hubs, and will provide know-how on how to create/establish collaborative networks on a national level to encourage communities of any EU countries to establish their own hubs. The platform will announce a price for the ‘outstanding hub of the year’ (in project’s 2nd and 3rd year). The Virtual Makerspace will be launched in M10.
The Data Management Plan (pdf, appr.10 pages, in EN) is elaborated to define the general requirements to be fulfilled by the partners and all beneficiaries to confirm GDPR compliance, including relevant systems (e.g., internal storage system) and privacy practices.
