This report will provide details of the novel or updated protocols for housing wild bee species, wild butterfly species and wild hover fly species in the laboratory that ensure the long-term survival of individuals, a necessary prerequisite for the use of these insect pollinators in testing their sensitivity to pesticide. Protocols will include methodology to expose insects by contact as well as orally. They will also include methodology for exposure of different life-stages (larvae, pupae, adults) to pesticide, either by contact or orally. They will be employed in Task 2.2.
A review of sampling protocols for nectar and pollen (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)Pollen and nectar can be sampled from plants in a variety of ways, with a range of efficiency and effectiveness. We will comprehensively review the literature for these sampling protocols and summarise what is known and the state-of-the-art in this area. We will highlight current best practice, where available, and also gaps in knowledge that need further investigation. This deliverable is associated to WP1 - Task 1.1.
Monitoring protocol (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)WildPosh will develop a monitoring protocol to assess how pesticides contaminate the environment adjacent to (and within) anemophilous and entomophilous crops. This report will describe this protocol in terms of its methodologies and how it will be rolled out across the site network. This deliverable is associated to WP1 - Task 1.1.
Report describing the rationale and creation of WildPosh’s project branding, marketing collateral and website. This deliverable is associated to WP7 - Task 7.1.
Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan (CDE Plan) (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)Deliverable providing the outline for all project outreach, communication, dissemination and exploitation efforts. This deliverable is associated to WP7 - Task 7.2.
A Data Management Plan will be set out to ensure we follow the FAIR data principles: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable. The Plan will set out the terms of how data will be centralised, stored, and made freely accessible at appropriate moments throughout the duration of the project. It will stipulate Data quality and format standards to ensure easy future data sharing, combination, interoperability and analysis. This deliverable is associated to WP8 - Task 8.4.
