A robust standardization roadmap towards boosting innovation to market for swappable Battery Systems for L-cat vehicles deployment as a major contribution to safe, secure, resources and environmental

Project description

Standardising swappable battery systems for L-category vehicles

L-category vehicles represent an environmentally friendly solution for both personal and commercial mobility. To further enhance their energy sustainability, the development of new battery technologies is imperative. One innovative solution is battery swapping for electric vehicles, allowing for the swift exchange of a discharged battery pack with a fully charged one, a convenient alternative to conventional recharging methods at charging stations. The MSCA-funded STAN4SWAP project aims to establish a robust plan for standardising swappable battery systems specifically designed for L-category vehicle deployment. This initiative seeks to foster innovation and streamline the introduction of new products to the market. The outcomes are expected to create safe, secure, environmentally friendly, and interoperable decarbonisation solutions within the transport sector.

Objective

A robust standardization roadmap towards boosting innovation to market for swappable Battery Systems for L-cat vehicles deployment as a major contribution to safe, secure, resources and environmental friendly and interoperable decarbonization solution of the Mobility-Transport sector.

Keywords
