Deliverables

ENR Survey Evaluation (opens in new window)

A survey will be developed to gather and compile information on the relevant institutions and grants. The survey results and existing funding models will be evaluated, so as to determine which specific approaches towards joint calls have the highest potential to be endorsed by existing funding bodies and supplied by the required finances.

IT Concept (opens in new window)

An IT concept will be developed and will include a provisional platform providing funding bodies with a point of contact, current strategical interests or information on probable upcoming calls. This concept will evaluate IT-tools provided by the ECARE project and propose possible adjustments for optimal European, National and Regional R&I cooperation.

Event (opens in new window)

Regarding the production of the Event the following steps will be taken: the venue is prepared to accommodate attendees and participants. The Registration and Check-in Points are open and ready for participants and guests arrival. They will receive event badges or identification, event materials, and any relevant information about the day's schedule. All ceremonies are planned and prepared technically (scene, audio equipment, screen etc). Speakers and Presenters are present. All rooms are marked and ready for participants, the expo room is ready. Organising team is in contact with the technical staff, ready to mitigate any potential problems that may occur (technical problems with audio or vision, delays, problems with finding the rooms etc).

Non-EU Country Report (opens in new window)

Summary on the level of commitment outside the EU to cooperate with the EU efforts on closer coordinated aviation research. A detailed position on all three aspects (strategy WP1.3, design WP 1.4 and administration WP 1.5) for the non-EU nations (excluding EU associated countries covered by deliverable D6) participating in the call, including related regions will be reported. A wider review of non-EU countries shall be included with a focus on countries who may be able to actively contribute to European research.

Overall planning of the event – location, date, establishing Advisory Board and Technical Committee, promotion plan (opens in new window)

Selecting an appropriate location is crucial for the success of the event. Consider factors such as accessibility, transportation options, accommodation facilities, and local amenities. Choosing the right date is essential to ensure maximum participation. It requires checking for any conflicting events or holidays that might impact attendance. Aim for a date that allows sufficient time for preparation and promotion.Establishing an Advisory Board: Forming an Advisory Board is beneficial for gaining expert insights and industry knowledge. They can provide guidance on event content, speakers, and overall direction.Establishing a Technical Committee: The committee will review submissions, select presentations, and ensure the event maintains a high standard of quality and relevance.Establishing a Promotion Plan which is essential to reach the target audience and generate interest in the event.

A well-designed event program is a crucial element in ensuring a successful and engaging event. It will serve as a guide for attendees, providing them with essential information about the event's schedule, speakers, sessions, and activities. The focus while planning will be put on: Event Overview, Scheduling,Keynote Speakres, Details on Sessions, Networking Opportunities, Panel Discussions, VIP Guests.

Potential synergies between European, National and Regional R&I aviation programmes (opens in new window)

Potential synergies by compiling EU funded collaborative research aviation projects (mainly managed by CINEA) and other main National and Regional R&I aviation programmes will be explored.These results will be publishable and documents will be distributed during the ILA 2024, which will be taking place between 5-9 June 2024.

Homepage WP 1 (opens in new window)

A dedicated homepage will be developed for the dissemination purposes of WP1. It shall include, among others, updated information on its topmost latest activities, progress, news and outcomes.

Establishing and opening of the Event Website is a part of the Event itself. It will serve as the guide for the Participants. Here they could find information regarding the event preparation, registration to the event, information for exhibitors, information for sponsors and Event detailed programme.
