Project description
Privacy-preserving data solution for research and AI projects
Preserving privacy is essential for research and AI endeavours. Sarus Technologies enhances data security and privacy, simplifies compliance processes, and unlocks the full potential of data for research and innovation. In this context, the EIC-funded PrivacyForDataAI project is dedicated to developing a solution for preserving privacy in data for research and AI projects. It empowers researchers to utilise private data assets without direct access, facilitates a broad spectrum of analytics for AI applications, and seamlessly integrates into existing workflows and IT infrastructures. With the solution successfully tested with healthcare organisations, financial services companies and smart city layers, the project now aims to expand the solution to encompass new data formats and analysis methods to support diverse data workflows.
Objective
Sarus will bring to market a privacy-preserving data solution for all research and AI projects.
By leveraging generative AI and privacy research (differential privacy), the solution enables researchers and data scientists to leverage private data assets without seeing them. It acts as a protection layer between the data source and the scientist that guarantees the privacy of any computation. It supports a broad range of analysis, from analytics to AI, and blends effortlessly into existing workflows and IT infrastructures.
Sarus bolsters data security and privacy, streamlines compliance processes, and unleashes the full potential of data for research and innovation.
We have already demonstrated the potential and benefit of this approach with successful paid pilots with hospitals, healthcare organizations, financial services companies, and smart cities players.
This projects will industrialize and robustify the solution, expand it to new forms of data and types of analysis (e.g.: LLMs) to support any data workflow in a privacy-preserving way.
With Sarus, all data assets will be available to fuel innovation, growth, competitiveness, job creation, and societal progress without any compromise on citizens' fundamental rights.
