The analysis covers the production potential and market demand for biomethanol in the EU for 2030 and 2050. The analysis will use the current markets for fossil production of methanol as a starting point and use input from potential end users. This deliverable refers to task 5.1.
Characterization of selected biogenic residues

D2.2 involves a full physical and chemical characterization of the biogenic feedstocks from D2.1. This will provide insight into the storage, handling and conveying behaviour, as well as the gasification characteristics. The feedstocks will also be compared and ranked against one another. This deliverable refers to task 2.2.

Selection of biogenic feedstock

D2.1 covers the list of the potential biogenic fuels in Europe, based on their availability and suitability as gasifiable feedstocks. D2.1 also includes the list of five biogenic streams which will be selected as a basis by the project consortium to explore in the Bio-MeGaFuel project in tasks 2.2, and 2.4. After preliminary experimental screening in tasks 2.2, and 2.4., two biogenic fuels will be selected for tasks 2.3 and 2.5. This deliverable refers to task 2.1.
Dissemination and Communication Plan
